GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The body pulled from the East River over the weekend is that of a Bellevue woman reported missing last week, police confirmed Tuesday.
Ivonne Benitez, 22, was reported missing April 15. Her body was found by searchers on Saturday. They called 911 when they found the body in the river.
Green Bay police say an autopsy was done on Benitez’s body Monday. The autopsy showed no indications of foul play.
Police say they do not plan to release further details.
