Green Bay School District Secures $20,000 Grant to Expand Mental Health Program

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Green Bay Area Public School District’s mental health program is getting a boost thanks to a grant.

During a recent Board of Education meeting, the WEA Member Benefits Foundation, Inc. announced a $20,000 grant to support Green Bay Area Public School District’s comprehensive mental health program.

The funding will allow the district to add a new mental health navigator position, build a mental health resource webpage and increase service hours from community-based providers, the district says.
