GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Two people are displaced after an attic fire at a Green Bay home.
Crews were called to a home in the 1200 block of Marquette Avenue just after 4 a.m. Thursday.
When firefighters arrived, they found smoke coming from the one-story home.
All occupants had evacuated safely before the fire department’s arrival.
The fire was extinguished and contained to the attic.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department’s Fire Marshal’s Office determined the cause to be electrical, with its origin in the attic space near the structure’s front door.
The fire caused about $90,000 worth of damage.
